Hey there, I’m Jake Johnson (JJ, for short), and I’m glad you found your way to my site.

My main goal here is to spread the facts about nutrition and fitness. No gimmicks, no bullshit, no dogma.

I don’t hold anything back, especially when dealing with those who spread misinformation to a vulnerable audience. Just so you know: I’m completely against one-size-fits-all approaches to dieting. Rigid diets that don’t take into account individual preferences straight up don’t work. Be flexible, follow a sustainable plan, and freakin’ relax, yo; you’re not your diet.

I’m Just a Regular Dude

Something I want to get across to you guys is that I’m no different from you, no matter where you’re coming from or where you’re trying to go. Don’t take my word for anything. I always encourage you to do your own research and come to your own conclusions. Although I always strive to provide the most scientifically accurate information available, I am human and I do make mistakes. Make sure you call me out if you see me slipping up.

Just know that I’m no guru or self-proclaimed expert. I’m a normal guy with a unique perspective and a passion for fitness and nutrition.
